Deena comes from Whitewater Saint Bernards in Indiana. We truly love Alf and his breeder Rhonda! We could not have asked for a nicer breeder; and one who really cared for their breedings. Although we weren't really looking for a puppy at first, Rhonda had a girl pup that was just lovely! In her baby pictures, she looked like the Saint we wanted: big and girlish! Coincidentally, we were in Indiana about the time that Deena was ready to leave the breeder. Kismet? Fate? Karma? We think all of the above (LOL)! Deena came back with us when we left Indiana and she made sure we knew she liked it with us!

Deena, unfortunately, began having seizures in June of 2017. After a complete checkup with blookwork it was determined she had idiopathic epilepsy. Sadly, this is very common in Saints but we had hoped to not have one (Deena is our 2nd; Doozer was our first). We in no way, shape, or form blame Rhonda! Sometimes things just happen. When we are ready for another Saint, we'll be calling Rhonda first! Deena was spayed in 2017 at the age of 3-1/2 years.
