Sunday April 4 2004. Doozer gets his 2nd Winners Dog of the weekend, as well as Best Opposite Sex (over a special). Way to go Doozer!!!

April 30 2004 - Beehive Cluster (Utah). Doozer gets his 2nd point of the weekend and takes BEST OF BREED along the way. The judge commented that Doozer was one of the nicest moving Saints he's seen.

Doozer is:

Severely dysplastic hips (subluxation, remodeling of femoral head/neck, osteoarthritis/degenerative joint disease, shallow acetabula) and Grade III elbows (degenerative joint disease (DJD), fragmented coronoid process (FCP)). Doozer has had seizures since he was 4-1/2-years old and has been on phenobarbital to control his seizures since June 2010.

Doozer is CERF normal (eyes) and OFA Cardio (echo) clear.

Mahogany/white shorthair (smooth coat with Black mask (from shorthair to longhair breeding))

Out of five puppies from a short-hair to long-hair breeding, Doozer was the only short-hair. Three of his siblings are also AKC Champion. Doozer's championship means that his dad Larry (BISS CH Westhavens Polaris v Sleeping CGC) and Doozer's mom Bailey (CH Westhaven's Sleepy Iris Cream) earned their HOF's (Hall of Fame).

Doozer was bought as Wilhelm's dog. He had always wanted a Saint Bernard and so I began talking to Doozer's breeder. She had a wonderful stud dog (an AKC Top Ten Saint) and a beautiful long-hair bitch. I told her that when she bred those two, to contact me. She did, and she did.... and lo and behold, we bought our first Saint Bernard!

Although Doozer is supposed to be Wilhelm's dog, he's a big Momma's boy. He's an absolute love and his one desire is to please Mom.

Doozer is shown here with his breeder, Tonya Sleep, at the 2006 Saint Bernard National Specialty. Just a couple of weeks later, Doozer went to California with "Grandma" and got one of his needed Majors.

May 20, 2007 - Doozer finishes with a FIVE POINT MAJOR from the Bred-By Exhibitor class!! Many thanks to breeder-judge Jane Lemieux!!

Not content to stay at home and watch the glory go to other dogs, Doozer goes to the Northern Saint Bernard Club Specialty (August 2007) and wins Best Junior Handler with Brenden. Then, in October 2007 he gets back-to-back Best of Breeds; followed with another Best of Breed in November and 4 UKC Best of Breeds the following week. We hope that Doozer keeps rolling in 2008!

Doozer has been featured in the Rimadyl poster found on many vet's walls. He was also featured in the commercial for The Black Book phone book (shown mainly in the Western States)

Doozer starts 2008 off with a BANG!! Three trials, three qualifying scores, one new RALLY NOVICE title!! Way to go Doozer!! (January 19-21 2008)
