Fox did not go to a lot of shows in 2005. He went to enough, though, to get a point, several best puppy in breed, and multiple Reserve Winners Dog.
Fox got his United Kennel Club (UKC) Championship with ease, in only 5 shows, going Best of Breed for 3 of those, and placing in the group all 3 times.
Date of Birth : November 30, 2004
UKC# 5 Great Dane (2005);
Fox came to us in a very unusual fashion. We had bred Tia, and were waiting for an ultrasound to determine if she was pregnant. In the meantime, our friends Loren & Brian had bred their girl Cela and we were helping to socialize her puppies. When we found out that Tia was not pregnant, and the boy that we thought was the pick of Cela's litter was not yet spoken for, it was kismet! We would have loved a puppy of Tia's, but we are thoroughly enjoying Fox.
We have never had a male Great Dane before, and he is something else! We estimate 37" at just two years old, and 170 pounds. He still doesn't know where all his feet are when he runs around, but that doesn't slow him down at all. He is an Energizer Bunny.
Fox was recently (Aug 2006) out with 14-year-old Brenden in Juniors
BEST OF WINNERS for a 4-point Major!!! Thank You, Mr. Pete Emily!!
June 3, 2007 - Fox gave Brenden a bit of a scare by breaking his leash and running down a busy Longmont road (just before breed judging). Two hours later, Fox helped Brenden win BEST JUNIOR HANDLER over 45 others. Good job boys!!
June 3, 2007 - BOW for another point (Central Wyoming Kennel Club May 26th)
BEST OF WINNERS for a his 2nd 4-point Major!!! Thank You, Mr. Steven Gladstone!!
New INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION (and group placement).
Another Winners Dog to finish out the 2007 show season!!
Fox continues to chip away at his needed points. He got one more single in Garden City, KS (March, 2008). Thanks to Mrs. Judith A Brown. Fox now needs just three singles to complete his AKC Championship. GO FOX!! We know you can do it!
Two singles in Albuquerque and two more points in Laramie make Fox an AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB CHAMPION!!! WAY TO GO FOX!!!!!
Our thanks to judge Mr. Doug Matson
