On December 20, 2006, Denver (Colorado, USA) experienced its first Blizzard in nearly four years. As of now (December 20 5:00pm MDT) they are expecting 18 - 24 inches of snow. The major airports are closed. Almost all highways in and out are closed.  What do dogs do in the snow?? Well, see below!!
When you are 9-1/2-years-old... and a Great Dane... you lounge on the couch!!
Let it snow; Bah Humbug
Let is sleep is more like it
When you are 4-1/2-years-old... and a little bit dignified... you agree to go outside ... but you sit
Yeah, whatever. I'm BUILT for this baby!!
When you are 2-years-old... and a big goofy Great Dane... you PLAY
Hey, where did my house go?
Better run home
Better just run... run... run...
When you are a young Saint Bernard... and this is your first big snowstorm - you EXPERIENCE
Oh Boy! Catching Snowflakes!
I wonder what this white stuff is all over?
Run home... Run home...
Can't run through the drifts anymore... must HOP!

Wet feet; Ick... Wet feet
I am beautiful.... even in the snow
DECEMBER 21 2006 - The wind ended, the snow slowed... and yes, we finally got the "old" girl out :-)
Even Doozer began hamming for the camera
Take my picture Mom!! TAKE MY PICTURE!!
If I run fast enough, you'll miss me with the camera....!!!
And here's what the snow, not packed down by dogs, was really like:
Our backyard deck. Somewhere, next to the BBQ, is a dog bath
The dog run not yet disturbed by the dogs (they've been using the other half)
The reason I haven't been to work in two days (the car is a 2005 Dodge Magnum)
Just our front yard in general. The robotic deer are buried beyond their bellies
Let us just remember that this is the season for Peace. Happy Holidays everyone!
